MARY HANSON

Mary Hanson has practiced business law exclusively since 1978. She received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1978 and her MBA in corporate finance from the University of Southern California in 1990. Her education includes study at Otago University in New Zealand and Imperial College in London and travel throughout Great Britain, Europe, the South Pacific, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

During her university years, she was a senate page in the Wisconsin State Senate and a tour guide at the USDA Forest Products Laboratory. During her three years overseas, she worked at various jobs including a chocolate factory, manufacturing plants, an orange orchard, and a London pub.

She was admitted to the bar in the states of Wisconsin, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and California. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the South Bay Bar Association, and the South Bay Estate Planning Council.

She began her career as a business attorney in 1978 with General Electric Company at its headquarters in Fairfield, Connecticut. She gained her first legal experience with computer-related technology there and at General Electric's Aerospace Division at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania in the early 1980's.

Ms. Hanson's personal interests include World War II, aviation history, and flying. She obtained her private pilot's license in 1996.
